Red Dot Paintball Opens Paintball Store and Paintball Field in Tri-Cities Washington

West Richland, WA (PRWEB) December 19, 2010

Red Dot Paintball has opened a premier paintball store to shop for paintball guns and accessories for players using the newly opened paintball field in Tri-Cities, Wa. Serving Pasco, Richland, Kennewick, Finley, Benton City, West Richland and surrounding areas, the premier retail shop and first class paintball field is having its grand opening at the store on December 18, 2010 between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Paintball has been absent from the area for two years. Red Dot Paintball is bringing its online store to a retail setting with tremendous value and pricing for its local customers.

Red Dot Paintball began 3 years ago as an online only retailer. It has been 3 years since its inception that the brick and mortar store has finally been opened. While most retailers start with a physical shop first, the paintball industry has been plagued with store closings and low retail margins.

Red Dot Paintball knew that in order to be successful in the industry, they had to learn how to compete with online stores. The typical shopper and player is younger and comes from a new age where price and shopping is done online. Many shoppers will check and study options online for days or even weeks prior to making a purchase. The company knew they had to be able to compete at those levels in order to survive in a retail setting.

The Internet is growing at a phenomenal pace and once again during this holiday shopping season it has been proven that more people are shopping online or at least studying their brick and mortar purchases online. Red Dot Paintball was able to grow its online volumes to a level whereby they can now offer the same savings to their customers in a retail setting. The store could not simply be a showroom for internet purchases. Not only have they brought attractive pricing to the area, they have brought expertise and service by providing a Tippmann Certified Tech Center and the ability to troubleshoot most paintball guns in the industry.

The store not only stocks hundreds of items locally, it is the center for shipping all of its online orders. Red Dot Paintball ships to all states and to most countries around the world. With orders shipping daily, the store is continually ordering from vendors allowing them to bring in parts and accessories for local players in 1 to 6 business days.

The store is open 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Tuesday to Saturdays and Sundays 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Located in West Richland at 4096 West Van Giesen St, the store features the ability to fill CO2 tanks and High Pressure Air (HPA) tanks to 4500 PSI. The store also has an indoor shooting lane where players can fine tune, tech or chronograph their paintball guns.

This Saturday, December 18, 2010, the store will be celebrating its grand opening by giving away prizes and a paintball membership to its field. Opening day on the field was November 13, 2010 and players supported the new field by showing up in numbers. 70 players attended the first day. A large paintball party was hosted along with tournament players locally and from Spokane.

The field is located at the Richland ORV park alongside the Horn Rapids Motorsports Park. Red Dot Paintball leased 43 acres to develop several fields. The facility is offering a safe fun environment to hold paintball tournaments, events, birthday parties and corporate outings. Red Dot Paintball plans to expand in to Airsoft both at the store and the field in the near future.

The addition of laser splat paintball using Tippmann 98's with high pressure air will give 5 to 12 year old children the ability to have the look and feel of paintball with out the splat which sometimes comes in the form of a sting from real paintballs. This laser system is completely safe and helps develop the players to play paintball safely in years to come. Red Dot Paintball is now pre-booking laser parties for the new year.

The field employs its own referee staff and employs coordinators to guide any group players and ensure all players are properly supervised, classified for skill level and go home feeling they had a fun, safe experience. The field plans to hold tournaments this spring and summer and has already been added to the West Coast Paintball Series events on June 25, 2011. This could bring over 25 teams to the area for the weekend.????

Paintball will be alive and well again in the Tri-Cities with the sounds of players shooting their paintball guns and having a thrilling paintball experience. Everyone needs to try paintball at least once as this sport is something that everyone can play and is truly an all day family sport and hobby.
